Howdy.

I just moved to Florida about 2 weeks ago, New Port Richey to be exact. I just graduated from college, and had to leave all my gamer friends behind. I'm looking for people in the area to game with and hang out with.

I'm a gamer girl of all trades. I play tabletop games of all kinds, from D&D to Shadows of Yesterday, I've been in 2 LARPS, I play MMO's and console games, D&D minis, and I cosplay and go to Ren Faires.

Hrm, guess that's everything. ^_^

Also, where are good gamer stores around here?

Hello I am jedi_maceo Moderator of nefl_rpg_finder.
My group is currently looking for a player to join us in our game in Yulee
once maybe twice a week, for an average of 2-3 times a month.
Schedule is flexable, so just about any nmght you're available.
Boy, girl it don't matter. We're just looking for someone
who can keep their obligation and make a game.
We'd like someone who can take a turn GM-ing. We play
D&D 3.0-3.5, Star Wars D20, D20 modern, SLA industries...sometimes we
just degenerate into watching some cornball anime or a cool movie.
we carry on a bit, but over all are semi-serious gamers. Drinking's cool
(so long as you're of age) and we'd like someone over 21, but we're flexable
based on maturity.
We just wanna get on with our gaming!

You can reply here or e-mail me for more info at
Jedi_Maceo@hotmail.com
and I encourage you all to join nefl_rpg_finder
This kind of thing doesn't need to happen ever again!

I moved to St. Petersburg, Fl a little over a month ago. I am in dire need of a RPG group that meets ANY TIME on SUNDAYS or MONDAYS during the DAY/EARLY EVENING. I go to school Tues-Sat from 9-5 (8:15-5 on sats)..

I want to play D&D with a group that is not immature but more like KotDT style :).

I am female and play female characters. I don't want to drive to Tampa every sunday so something a bt more local would be nice until the gas prices go down or until my money funds go up.

Seeking RPG players in or around the Bradenton/Sarasota area... [17 May 2005|12:56pm]

prismcat
[ mood | excited ]

I am a part of a live gaming group that plays RPG games almost every Saturday. We are a friendly group looking for one or more dedicated gamers to join, if you are into D&D (version 3 or 3.5), Shadowrun, L5R (Legend of the 5 Rings), or BattleTech (or MechWarriors). We're a bunch of geeks in our 20's to 30's who also hang out and do other things occasionally, like dancing or raiding the gaming stores. We don't play online games, but have been known to do some LAN gaming with Diablo and NWN and right now the hivemind is generally distracted by God of War on PS2 (most of us have PS2's and PC games). Our group size has slowly dwindled down due to pesky things like girlfriends and people actually having lives beyond game, etc.

Info on the group:
*Meets Saturdays in Bradenton, generally from 5-10pm
*5 active people, 3 who make cameo appearances
*Ages range from 21 to 39
*We have a female player!
*Racial diversity - ie, we're not all caucasian

Highlights:
*3 GMs in group - currently the active GM is running custom created D&D world, on the backburner another GM is working up Shadowrun campaign and on the side, during the week, the third GM runs Battletech
*Friendly, intellectual and open-minded people who attempt to avoid metagaming and munchie characters and don't bite...unless asked, nicely...and we are all current on our tetanus shots
*3 people into miniature painting, 1 pro-level
*All a bunch of dice freaks
*Vast libraries of knowledge that we are all happy to share - reference materials, books, minis, etc
*No gameboy smell (ROFL)

Footnotes:
*None of us have kids and there aren't any babysitters here
*BYOB & food - we generally share munchies, etc
*We ask that you always respect the active GM, regardless of your previous experience - we like to talk through our differences, but ultimately it is the GM's call
*We prefer to remain a drug-free zone

If you have any questions or would like to join, please post here or feel free to email me: prismcat@hotmail.com

Hey, I'm new to this community, 18 years old, and I live in Pace, about 5 miles away from Pensacola. I've been playing games since the GameBoy first came out, still have my original one too. :) I didn't consider myself a gamer until 6th grade when I played against a bunch of people in the arcade and kicked their asses in Tekken 2. Now and forever my fave systems are the PS2 and GCN, I am currently playing Baten Kaitos. One of the best RPGs I have played in a long time. Final Fantasy is the best series of all time!

Please read all-of-the-way through and participate, and get as many friends as you can to participate, or poll them and post or e-mail me with the response.

Talk to your friends and find out (5) of their favorite X-Box, multi-player games. PS2 is later in my plan.

I would appreciate that you fill out your fav's, and then, have any and/or all friends you can also do it. Or e-mail me at JJMaul5@aol.com

It is really important, and will benefit all gamers if you do this. Trust me, it is for a future business station. (In brief: A nation-wide server of stations holding from 16 players up-wards of 128 players, Dave & Busters is in line for 23 of the +128 player stations!, stationed at Mall's, GameStop's & EB's, and Best Buys, etc. all over the country. Over 1700 are in order to be set up, and will have Real-time standings for players.)

So far I have, Halo, Halo2, Crimson Skies, Rainbow Six, MechAssault2, DDR games for X-Box.

I NEED more input from the public. There will be a 2-month beta test beginning November 9th, like the date?, going until January. Please get involved with that too (more info on it to come eventually).

We are trying to get involved with Y100 (a big Philadelphia-area radio station) for advertising, participation, and funding. (A letter and outline has been sent to your dad already Justin by the guy whom I am working with.) So you may be hearing about it on there. It is called FragIsle LLC and you can bet it will change the multi-player gaming industry. So many large companies are fight to sponsor us and work with us, and you can help us now too! Please do so. If you're at college, ask EVERYONE YOU CAN, and e-mail me the results at JJMaul5@aol.com, or post them here. PLEASE! This is a revolutionary step and we need all of you! Thank you all!

If you are reading this in a Video Game/Halo/Halo 2/X-Box community, I ask you to e-mail me, as I cannot guarantee I will be able to check this again. JJMaul5@aol.com. Or respond to the most recent Entry in my journal (TuabRy05)

I found this community by mistake, but I'm glad all the same. I'm atikin, I live in Tampa. I'm big on old school games, especially for SNES. I just recently received an SNES and Nintendo as a gift, so right now I'm a happy camper.

Don't get me wrong, I love the newer systems, too. Especially PS2, and Xbox (only for playing Splinter Cell, Morrowind, and Halo).

Hey y'all, Tampa gamer here, and a Nintendo fan from way back in the day. Well. Not way back. but ever since they started making coin-ops and consoles and the little cheap hand held things. Not that i'm not open to other things. At one point I would have killed for a sega cd or a 32x or an atari Jaguar (Doom being my prime reason. My computer sucked at the time). I'm really quite glad that I wasn't old enough to buy 'em for myself...

My specialities include Smash brothers, Soul caliber, Mario kart, and the Matrix. I'm working on Beyond Good and Evil for the Cube right now. I enjoy long walks in the secluded forests of Hyrule, tromping around in the marshes of Zebes, and plesant drives on Peach beach. The worst thing that ever happened to me is the shrinking of my attention span, which I think was brought on by my lack of a ps2, and consequently, of Final Fantasy. If that makes any sense. snoogins.
